The 222nd Anniversary of the Signing
Members from the Augusta Chapter, College Hill Chapter, and Martintown Road Chapter (SC) gathered at William Few's grave, located at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Augusta, Georgia. A wreath laying ceremony was held to commemorate the Septemeber 17, 1787 signing of the Declaration of Independence. Mayor Deke Copenhaver attended the event, as well as friends and family of DAR members, descendents of William Few, and school children.
